JOB DESCRIPTION Whitefish Mountain Resort (Winter Sports, Inc.) Title: Banquet Server Department: Base Lodge Status: Seasonal Intermittent, Hourly FLSA: Non-exempt Updated: March 2024 Job Summary:  The Banquet Server assists in special events in both front and back of house at the Base Lodge. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in all areas, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring exceptional guest service. Job Relationships: * Reports to: Outlet Manager * Employees Supervised: None Job Specifications: * High school graduate or GED equivalent * 1-2 years food service experience preferred * Proficient communication skills in English * Ability to function effectively in high-stress environments * Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills Specific Duties: * Adhere to company policies and department regulations * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation * Assist with event setup, teardown, and cleanup * Ensure compliance with Health Department regulations * Report any equipment failure or abnormal operations to supervisor * Maintain overall quality of guest services and products * Complete all required paperwork accurately * Remain flexible with schedule and work well under time constraints * Handle guest concerns professionally * Maintain good safety practices for employees and guests * Participate in ongoing employee training * Take fast and appropriate actions to solve problems * Assist in other departments or with other job duties as required Safety & Wellness:  All team members are responsible for ensuring a safe environment for internal and external guests. Regular inspections of work and public areas are required to identify and address any unsafe conditions or behaviors promptly.
