POSITION: Banquet Server
DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage
REPORTS TO: Director of Catering and Banquet Captain
PREPARED BY: Banquet Captain

SUMMARY

Woodland Golf Club has been serving its private members since 1896. We range from casual dining to fine dining, to private events. Woodland is a very family-oriented and warm place to work. We are seeking part-time Banquet Servers who can work weekday and weekend shifts. Employees must provide members and their guests with prompt, friendly and attentive service. Customer service experience is preferred, but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • No prior experience necessary
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds or more and remain comfortable on their feet for the duration of their shift
  • Exceptional time management skills and successful at prioritizing tasks
  • Excellent attention to quality and detail
  • Positive attitude and ability to work sufficiently as a member on a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow verbal directions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Assist with completing the set up and breakdown of event space
  • Maintain a clean and stocked banquet wait station
  • Serve all patrons in a friendly and positive manner
  • Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Protect establishment and patrons by constant adherence to safety and sanitation protocols
  • Relay food and beverage orders as well as informing the kitchen of any allergies or dietary restrictions
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to any patron concerns
  • Maintain constant professionalism in terms of appearance and mannerisms
