SUMMARY:

The Banquets Set-Up Attendant is responsible for the setup and tear down of all materials and equipment for banquets and events in meeting spaces.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to lift- up to 50 lbs. consistently and 100 lbs. infrequently.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time .
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION(S)/LICENSE(S):

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with the supervisor throughout the shift to be aware of the work.
  • Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest in accordance to BEO.
  • Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glass and fresh water.
  • Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to the storage closet.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
  • Maintain an established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms always stay presentable.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
