Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Banquet Sous Chef is responsible for overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations within the Banquets department, ensuring the highest quality of food is delivered for every event and function at the hotel. This role requires a creative and passionate leader who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with and lead a team of professionals in preparing dishes that celebrate beautiful produce and leave a lasting impression on our guests.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Ensure our guests consistently receive the highest level of catering and event culinary experiences
  • Oversee production, portion control and quality presentation of all banquet food items
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times
  • Assist with stock management, ordering, and food cost control
  • Lead, develop and mentor a passionate kitchen team
