BANQUETS SUPERVISOR

WOW Catering is seeking an energetic and well-organized banquet supervisor to provide our customers with a first-class banquet experience across our multiple properties. Your duties will include but are not limited to overseeing the staff across our properties, assisting with staff scheduling and labour control, inventory management, implementing a streamlined training program and assisting on the floor as event needs require.
The successful candidate should exhibit experience supervising/captaining in banquets, polished communication skills and proven leadership to a diverse team.

BANQUET MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

· 2-4 Years of experience executing events in a banquets and catering environment
· 2 years of supervisory experience
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

· Reviewing banquet event orders
· Regular communications meetings with the sales team and venue partners
· On the floor supervision of staff for set up, execution and tear down of events when required
· Training banquets staff
· Overseeing guest service at events ensuring food quality and service expectations are met
Knowledge of closing cash outs and bar counts for events
· Addressing guest concerns at events directly and taking responsibility of any errors or issues that may arise
