Are you born for the Hospitality Industry and enjoy going above and beyond to ensure our reputation for outstanding service is upheld? We are currently looking for our next superstar to join us as our full time Banquet Team Supervisor reporting in directly to the F&B Operations Manager.
To be a part of the team you will have a passion for providing quality customer service that sees our guests coming back again and again. Importantly, you will have excellent communication skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent coffee, cocktails, food and service!
The initial focus of the role will be to supervisor operations associated with quarantine food service however, in the future we envisage this role will oversee other hotel outlets such as Banqueting, as required.

  • Strong leadership skills and previous experience in leading a team within the hospitality industry.

  • Holding an Approved Manager licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • The efficient running of the food and beverage service function to both meet and exceed customer needs and expectations.
  • Supervising and leading the team of food and beverage attendants in all areas such as; operations, employee engagement and training & development etc.
  • Catering to the needs of all VIP and regular guests to ensure requests and needs are met.
  • Setting up systems to protect and maintain control of service equipment and carrying out regular stock takes.
  • Liaising with relevant departments with regards to food & beverage distribution e.g. Kitchen.
  • Attending to operational problems and needs promptly, including customer complaints, enquiries and requests.
  • Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and house management policies.
  • Maintain currency of RSA certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.
