The Exec Head Chef of a high end fresh food function and events venue that can cater up to 500 guests in a variety of spaces is seeking a Banqueting Head Chef. Responsibilities include compiling banqueting menus, creating and maintaining a strong customer-focused performance driven culture and delivering culinary excellence. You will work within an agreed budget and will ensure the efficient running of the department striving to improve quality standards, profitability, staff development and retention. As Banqueting Head Chef the ability to demonstrate effective and co-operative team working with colleagues at all levels is also a prime requirement of this role.
REQUIREMENTS:
A Head Chef with a stable background who has been working for a minimum of 3 years in a large scale banqueting hotel or stadium with fine dining functions and has the ability to oversee and manage kitchen operations. The successful candidate must have the management skills needed to run a busy operation, work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, demonstrate creativity, and maintain strong attention to detail.
