Your key duties include: Providing professional, friendly, and engaging service at all times Setting up and tearing down meeting and banquet rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) Safely lifting, moving, and storing tables, chairs, and staging equipment Maintaining cleanliness in banquet rooms, hallways, storage areas, and service spaces Reporting unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or repair needs promptly Following departmental procedures, hotel standards, and all health and safety guidelines Performing additional duties as assigned to support the team Qualifications What You Bring Previous experience in guest service or a similar physical/operational role Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities High level of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure A team player mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overnights Physical Requirements Constant standing and walking throughout the shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs Frequent pushing, pulling, kneeling, and bending Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and ramps Manual dexterity and ability to carry multiple items simultaneously (e.g., 3 entrée plates) This role is more than physical setup; it’s about creating the backdrop for life’s most important moments.
