Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and tableware used during banquet events are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashing machines and handwash items as needed, guaranteeing that all dishes and kitchen tools are spotless and ready for action.
  • Trash and Waste Management: Dispose of waste and recycling materials responsibly, maintaining a clean and organized disposal area.
  • Support for Kitchen Staff: Assist our culinary team by providing clean utensils and equipment during food preparation and service.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Help monitor and report inventory levels for cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials to the Sous Chef or Manager.
  • Workplace Organization: Ensure that work areas, storage areas, and equipment are tidy and safe, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Assisting with Setup and Breakdown: Help set up and break down banquet events, ensuring all areas are prepped for service and cleaned up afterward.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe environment for yourself and your colleagues.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or stewarding role is a plus, but not required.
  • Teamwork Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with kitchen and banquet staff.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
