BAR AND CAFÉ’ SUPERVISOR

Location: Apex and Athenaeum, Bury St Edmunds
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Holiday: 28 days pro rata including bank holidays per annum
Hours: 8.30 am – 3 pm & 3 pm – 11:00 pm, ( Please note the finish time can be earlier or later depending on the event)
Days: Any 5 out of 7 - including bank holidays

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in running a shift and leading a team.
• First Aid certified.
• Good all round bar knowledge.
• Health and safety awareness.

You will be based at The Apex but also looking after The Athenaeum (both venues are a short walk). You will be managing the hospitality requirements to ensure the client’s expectations are met ensuring a seamless experience of the highest standard across our two prestigious venues.
That may be delivering a wedding of the highest standard at the Athenaeum, to bar service during one of our many shows at the Apex. Working with the onsite team to deliver pre show dining, conference and events, small meetings and large scale events. No two days are the same.
As the chosen catering partner, we are proud of our local suppliers and take food service seriously. Whilst operating the café using locally roasted beans, freshly baked bread and locally crafted hot chocolate, we host food tasting events for all. Our love of food and service is what sets us apart.
