The Bar Assistant role will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a first-class visitor experience that reflects the mission and values of the organisation. Duties will include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of food and drink offerings, as well as proactively driving sales while managing queues efficiently. The position requires collaboration with catering teams to ensure seamless service, adherence to hygiene and food safety standards, and support during internal and external events. Additional duties involve handling complaints professionally, operating EPOS systems, and maintaining cleanliness and reporting maintenance issues.​
Our ideal candidate will have barista and bar experience. You must have strong numeracy skills and able to handle cash confidently. Good communication skills are key, as well as maintaining a professional, calm and welcoming attitude. You will need to be able to work a variety of shifts which will include evenings and weekends.
