Company Description We are looking for a Bar & Back of House Support to join the team at Bath The Pump Room. This role will be a front of house position, supporting with the preparation of hot and cold drinks, keeping coffee stations clean and clear and supporting the front of house team with any ad hoc duties to ensure service is smooth for our guests and to be the second in charge after the Bar Supervisor. The Pump Room has been the social heart of Bath for more than two centuries, and boasts amongst its previous patrons Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. It also includes but not limited to front and back of house duties, which can include the running of food and drink. Job Type: Full Time 35hr contract Hourly Rate: £12.21ph plus TRONC This would be a 5 out of 7 day, Monday to Sunday role based on 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities To ensure all working areas are clean and tidy Provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers. To be flexible to work in all areas of front of house To support the front of house team with any tasks they require To ensure all areas are stocked for service eg coffee, milk and other refreshments To learn how to make all hot and cold drinks To receive, count, inspect and store goods and/or equipment and dispensing or disposing them to/from departments as and when required. Report immediately any incidents or accidents, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate Report any broken equipment to the Managers on shift Qualifications Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
