Groveland Park is a 55 bed Luxury Residential care home rated Outstanding. We are looking for a Bar Bistro assistant to cover leave and sickness working flexible hours per week.

Responsibilities

Ensure the stocks of all drinks are kept replenished in the
Bar/Bistro.
To organise entertainment separate but in conjunction with the
other events being organised within The home.
Ensure that all events are organised to a high standard.
To represent the company in a positive light at all
times.
To serve of Snacks for residents/visitors who choose
to eat in the bar area, be understanding of any specific food
requirements and ensure everyone is treated with respect, dignity

and given choice.

  • To understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements
  • such as HACCP, Health & Safety, COSHH, EnvironmentalHealth, to maintain a safe environment throughout the home.
  • To ensure the Bar Bistro is clean and tidy in all areas with the

correct products following instruction and guidance contained in
the cleaning schedules ensuring The home is always

cleaned to the highest standards.

  • Ensure that all equipment is in full, safe working order,
  • immediately report any faults to the Maintenance person.
  • To receive and unload new stock, store appropriately and rotate
  • current stock correctly to maintain optimum freshness of allfood stuff.
  • All concerns regarding possible abuse of a vulnerable adult must

be reported immediately, to the person in charge, who will report

to the board of directors.

  • To work as an integral part of the team, contribute to meetings
  • and training sessions as required ensuring that The home

is a friendly and supportive working environment.Follow any
reasonable request by a manager.
