JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Bar & Events Manager to oversee our vibrant bar operations and lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service. This role blends operational leadership with event coordination and creative influence, ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, nightlife, and creating memorable guest experiences. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2–3 years of bar management or event supervision experience
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities
• Experience with budget management, inventory control, and vendor negotiations
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance standards and liquor regulations
• Creative and confident in menu design and event execution
• Technically competent with AV systems and entertainment coordination
• Proficient in POS systems and basic office software (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Comfortable working in an LGBTQ+ environment

• Oversee Daily Bar Operations: Ensure smooth, high-quality service during bar hours.
• Manage Staff: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders, barbacks, and support staff.
• Inventory & Ordering: Maintain stock levels, place orders, and control inventory to reduce waste.
• Financial Management: Track sales performance, manage budgets, and control costs to improve profitability.
• Customer Service: Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment; resolve guest concerns with professionalism.
• Menu Development: Design and implement innovative and profitable cocktail menus, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Compliance: Uphold health, safety, and liquor laws; ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
• Event Management: Plan and execute engaging bar events, promotions, and private functions.
• Entertainment Oversight: Coordinate DJs, performers, and AV systems; manage themed nights and entertainment schedules.
• Marketing & Promotion: Partner with the marketing team to promote events to hotel guests and external audiences.
• SOP Development: Create and update Standard Operating Procedures to ensure operational consistency.
• Staff Performance Reviews: Conduct evaluations, provide feedback, and implement ongoing training initiatives.
• Vendor Relations: Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for best pricing and service.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Collaborate with other hotel departments and assist during peak operating times.
