CARRIAGES KILMACOLM is on the hunt for more BAR/FLOOR Staff to add to its amazing team!
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, being hands on and ensuring the venue Bar & Restaurant areas runs smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Engage with guests, providing recommendations and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Support delivery drivers by coordinating orders and ensuring timely dispatch when required.
• Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with licensing laws and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• A background in culinary or kitchen operations is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
• A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
