JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and attentive Supervisor to join our Front of House team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers have a memorable experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. We are a small public inn with a strong base of local regulars and strive to give our guests the best service and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow.
  • Provide menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages with attention to detail.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and reception.
  • Maintain the cellar and ensure we have a ready supply of cask ales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and lead other team members to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Assist in training new staff members as required, promoting a team-oriented environment.
