Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Bar & Gaming Attendant at Unanderra Hotel, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience and responsible for creating memorable moments through exceptional service and genuine hospitality. You’ll bring solid food and beverage knowledge, confidence in upselling, and a positive attitude that shines in a busy environment.
From mixing drinks and serving guests with a smile to assisting in our gaming lounge and maintaining a well-run bar, every shift will offer variety and opportunities to grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
  • Take food and drink orders promptly and accurately, delivering with a high level of service
  • Assist guests with inquiries related to the gaming room, TAB, and venue facilities
  • Conduct regular checks and basic maintenance in the gaming area, resolving issues promptly
  • Monitor gaming operations to ensure compliance with venue policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Accurately process transactions using the POS system and handle cash responsibly
  • Restock and maintain bar supplies and inventory to ensure smooth operations
  • Support responsible service of alcohol and promote a safe, welcoming environment
  • Provide friendly, personalised service that enhances the overall guest experience
  • Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns quickly and professionally
  • Occasionally assist with cellar duties and back-of-house operations as required
