• To manage, train and develop the team, with the key aim of retaining current customers and attracting new customers and helping to build sales and improve profitability.
• To participate as part of the abbey hotel management team, providing feedback on effectiveness of policies and procedures and contribute to service and product improvements.
• Ensure that the premises are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, and health and safety.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate reporting is carried out on a daily basis.
• Ensure stock control is enforced and maintained.
• Drive business in the local area.
• Liaise with marketing team for business development.
• Ensure all maintenance issue are reported in a timely fashion.
