Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the bar, providing exceptional customer service, and managing a team of bartenders and bar staff. Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
- Create and update drink menus, ensuring a diverse selection of beverages to cater to customer preferences
- Train and supervise bartenders and bar staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Handle cash handling procedures, including cash register operations and reconciling daily sales
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food service delivery to customers seated at the bar
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of beverage trends and ability to create innovative drink menus
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
