The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy environment, have excellent leadership skills, and possess the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bar operations, ensuring a high standard of service, and leading a team of bar staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a bar management role.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of bar operations, including mixology, inventory management, and financial controls.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and make quick decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage stock control, including ordering and receiving supplies.
  • Develop and implement bar menus and drink specials.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Supervise, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Create and manage rotating staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide high-quality service and address any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with regular customers and handle special requests.
  • Financial Management:
  • Monitor and manage bar expenses, including labor costs and wastage.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Marketing and Promotions:
  • Develop and execute promotional events and marketing strategies to drive business.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the bar’s presence and reputation.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff performance.
  • Prepare reports for senior management as required.
