BAR MANAGER – SCARBOROUGH OPEN AIR THEATRE FOR 24TH OF AUGUST

We’re looking for experienced Bar Managers with ideally a Personal licence to run our bars at Scarborough Open Air Theatre for the 2025 summer concert season. This an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
As Bar Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient service across at your bar during each event. You’ll manage a team, coordinate stock and supplies for your area, ensure compliance with licensing laws, and help deliver an outstanding experience for thousands of guests.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven bar management experience (event/festival experience is a plus)
• A valid personal licence
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a live event setting

• Oversee your allocated bar’s operation
• Manage, brief, train and motivate bar staff during each event
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Handle stock control and bar setup/breakdown
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service
• Work closely with event and site management teams
