OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our bar and ensure a high-quality experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the beverage industry, with a focus on customer service, staff management, and operational efficiency. This role requires a leader who can create an inviting atmosphere while maintaining the highest standards of service and safety.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in restaurant or bar management, preferably in fine dining or casual dining settings.
  • Strong background in food service management, including experience with food production, catering, and banquet operations.
  • Familiarity with kitchen management principles and culinary experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on training & development of team members.
  • Experience in shift management, supervising staff, and providing outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of hospitality management practices and food safety regulations is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily bar operations, including inventory control, cash handling, and staff scheduling.
  • Train, supervise, and develop bar staff to ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to company standards.
  • Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen management to create innovative drink menus that complement food offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and inventory management.
  • Implement effective budgeting practices to manage costs while maximizing profitability.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new bar staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all local laws regarding alcohol service and food handling.
