REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Head Bartender, or similar role in a high-paced hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on attitude.
  • In-depth knowledge of beverage trends, cocktail preparation, and bar hygiene protocols.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of bar stock control, ordering, and budgeting.
  • Certification in alcohol licensing and health & safety (preferred).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily bar operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service environment.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee the creation and presentation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and hygiene standards.
  • Develop new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink menus to attract and retain customers.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor bar revenues and expenses; manage budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally to maintain a positive reputation.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings.
