About the Role: The Bar Manager at Chicken and Beer be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bar operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience and efficient service. This role requires managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality. The Bar Manager will lead and develop the bar team through effective training and motivation, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with kitchen and service staff to develop innovative menus that align with customer preferences and business goals. Ultimately, the Bar Manager will drive profitability while upholding the brand’s reputation for excellent hospitality and service. Minimum Qualifications: * Proven experience in bar management or a similar hospitality role. * Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including cost control and inventory management. * Excellent leadership and staff training skills. * Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service. * Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: * Certification in hospitality management or related field. * Experience with menu development and food cost analysis. * Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory software. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Previous experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment. Responsibilities: * Manage daily bar operations including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling. * Train, supervise, and schedule bar staff to ensure consistent service quality and adherence to company policies. * Develop and update beverage and food menus in collaboration with the culinary team to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. * Monitor and control food and beverage costs to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations at all times. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve any service issues promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction. * Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective strategies. Skills: The required skills such as hospitality, bartending, and restaurant management are essential for delivering excellent customer service and managing daily bar operations effectively. Food and beverage knowledge, combined with cost control expertise, enables the Bar Manager to maintain profitability while ensuring quality.
