The Role:
As Bar Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the bar, managing staff, stock, and service standards. You’ll lead by example, inspiring the team to deliver outstanding hospitality while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver excellent service.
  • Manage rotas, recruitment, and staff development.
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Drive sales through promotions, events, and upselling.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and atmosphere in the bar.
  • Handle cashing up, reporting, and budget management.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a busy bar or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of drinks, cocktails, and bar operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve effectively.
  • A passion for customer service and creating a positive guest experience.
  • Organised, proactive, and commercially minded.
