POSITION OVERVIEW

The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain smooth coordination between the front-of-house, back-of-house, and management teams.
The Bar Manager will be accountable for staff management, bar profitability, product consistency, and ensuring that our bar program reflects the standards of the restaurant. This role is also responsible for the secure lockup of the building at the end of each shift, ensuring all areas are properly secured.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOperations & Service

  • Oversee all aspects of bar service, ensuring consistency in cocktails, presentation, and guest experience.
  • Create and maintain bar SOPs, service standards, and recipe guides.
  • Implement and monitor guest satisfaction initiatives.
  • Work the floor and bar when necessary to support service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3+ years bartending experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
  • Proficiency with MarginEdge and Toast POS (or similar systems).
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in cost controls and budgeting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Passion for hospitality and elevating the guest experience.
