JOB DESCRIPTION

The Chancery Rosewood – opening in Summer 2025, is a Rosewood Hotel Group property housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square. Reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield, the hotel will feature 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, alongside a collection of dynamic dining and entertainment spaces, providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices, and expression.
We are seeking a Bar Manager to lead our team in an excellent bar experience, blending impeccable service, innovative mixology, and a dynamic atmosphere. You will oversee the daily operations of our bar, ensuring smooth service, creative cocktail craftsmanship, and the highest standards of hospitality. As out bar Manager, you will be responsible for curating an innovative beverage program, training and developing staff, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving business performance.
This role will commence in May 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily bar operations, ensuring seamless service and an inviting atmosphere.
  • Lead and develop the team through training, coaching, and continuous feedback to uphold high service standards.
  • Elevate the guest experience by engaging with guests, offering expert recommendations, and ensuring exceptional service.
  • Monitor sales and performance metrics, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and hygiene standards, maintaining a well-organized and pristine bar environment.
  • Manage inventory, cost control, and supplier relationships to optimize beverage offerings and profitability.

About You:

  • Experience in bar or beverage management, ideally in a luxury hotel or high-end cocktail bar.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Passion for mixology, with a deep knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and industry trends.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgets, cost control, and revenue management.
  • A creative mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
