Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be our face day in, day out, offering our guests the best possible service, every single time.
As a Bar Attendant Supervisor/Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the bar, which requires making sophisticated cocktail, managing a small team of professional and taking ownership for the management of the bar.
This is not the standard bartending role. We distill in-house, work with local seasonal produce, produce most of our syrups and tonics. If you want to learn complicated techniques, we are prefect for you.

The roles as located in Darwin and priority is given to Darwin residents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Preparing and mixing a range of sophisticated drinks
· Taking drink orders
· Preparing Espresso
· Setting up coffee machine with exact weights and measures.
· Preparing garnishes, syrups and mixers
· Cleaning bar areas and monitoring cleaning schedules
· Placing bar orders with supplier
· Placing bar orders with kitchen
· Supervising and training food and beverage attendants of a lower grade
· Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests
· Undertaking general waiting duties
· Preparing and mixing a range of sophisticated drinks
· Cleaning bar areas
· Cleaning tables
· Picking up glasses
· Cleaning and care of glasses and equipment
· Practising proper workplace health and safety procedures
· Other incidental and peripheral duties as requested by the employer
· Cash handling and till balancing
· Cleaning beer lines.
