JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bartending and team management, with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality in our newly refurbished pub. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service, maintaining food safety protocols, and supervising staff to create an inviting atmosphere for our guests.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in bartending and managing a bar or similar establishment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary principles is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
  • Develop and implement creative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences.
  • Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards within the bar area.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Monitor financial performance of the bar, assisting in budgeting and forecasting as required.
