OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, with a passion for food and drink. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patrons.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
  • Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential.
  • Background in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with serving techniques and barista skills will be an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop a team.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels to minimise waste.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to deliver exceptional service while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards in all aspects of bar operations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and service during busy periods.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
  • Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and budgeting for bar operations.
