Job Overview
Three Blue Ducks in Byron Bay are looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to join our growing team!
Job Description
Lead a passionate bar team at one of Byron’s most iconic venues.
Set on an 80-acre working farm and macadamia orchard with sweeping views of the hinterland and Byron’s iconic lighthouse, Three Blue Ducks at The Farm Byron Bay is more than just a restaurant - it’s a destination.
We’re a passionate and down-to-earth crew that takes pride in great food, warm hospitality, and creating memorable experiences. While we take what we do seriously, we keep things fun, inclusive, and real – good vibes and good people are at the heart of everything we do.
We’re currently on the lookout for an experienced and energetic Bar Manager to lead our bar team. If you love crafting great drinks, working with quality local suppliers, and creating unforgettable experiences from behind the bar - this one’s for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing daily bar operations across busy services, weddings, and events
  • Leading and training a passionate bar team
  • Driving creative beverage development (seasonal cocktail lists, local producers, and low-waste options)
  • Overseeing stock control, ordering, and cost management
  • Working closely with the FOH & BOH teams to keep things smooth, fun, and professional
  • Jumping on the tools and leading by example during peak trade
  • Contributing to the vibe and energy of our space – we’re all about good hospitality

About You

  • You’ve got solid experience managing a high-volume bar (ideally in a restaurant or event space)
  • You’re a confident, calm leader who brings people together and keeps standards high
  • You’re all over wine, beer, spirits, and cocktail trends - but you’re also practical and know what works
  • You’re organised, tech-savvy, and on top of your numbers (ordering, stock, margins etc.)
  • You love working with people and creating experiences - not just pouring drinks
  • You’re happy to work a flexible roster that includes nights, weekends, and events
  • RSA and strong product knowledge are a must

Perks & Benefits

  • Supportive, fun, and welcoming team culture
  • Generous tips and great staff discounts across all Ducks venues
  • Ongoing training and genuine opportunities for growth
  • Ability to work across our other venues - Rosebery, Melbourne, Bellingen & Nimbo
  • A chance to be part of a hospitality group that values sustainability, community, and good people
  • Paid Parental Leave

Ready to Join the Ducks?
If you’re ready to lead an awesome bar team and bring your flavour to one of Byron’s most iconic venues, we’d love to hear from you.
