We are searching for a committed, proactive bar manager who would enjoy work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The bar manager will train and guide staff to build food and beverage sales that meet or exceed budgeted guidelines. Promote excellent service by providing training and education to employees, maintain the facility, creating a secure, safe, clean, and efficient environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knows how to operate P.O. S. system.
  • Knowledge and understanding of purchasing inventory control and employee scheduling.
  • High school diploma and prior experience in a restaurant.
  • Basic math skills and cash handling procedures.
  • Knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding the responsible sale of alcohol.
  • Knowledge of beer, spirits, and wine, their production, origination, and diversity, and proper serving technique

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Will regularly stand, walk, talk, carry, bend, stoop, turn and lift in excess of fifty (50) pounds. Lead Prep Managers will also drive, view a computer monitor, and type/write on a regular basis. Team lift required on anything over fifty (50) pounds and/or an awkward lift

Responsibilities
  • Mixes and serves drinks for guests in the bar as they are ordered.
  • Mixes and serves drinks for waiters as they are ordered.
  • Properly records and calculates all guests’ orders in the bar tickets.
  • Returns correct change or charges a Room voucher to guests in a timely manner.
  • Follows all cash handling procedures and policies.
  • Serves drinks in clean and polished glassware.
  • Properly records and writes off all complimentary drinks.
  • Communicates information regarding guest requests, out-of-stock items, and new products to all employees and managers.
  • Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a manager at any time.
