JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for providing exceptional guest services. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a bartending or hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
  • Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • A proactive approach to upselling products and enhancing guest experiences.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with guests, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards during food preparation and service.
  • Assist in the preparation of garnishes and other ingredients as needed.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
  • Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
