The Bridge 1859 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bar Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing bar staff, maintaining stock and inventory, and ensuring the smooth running of all bar activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bar operations and ensure excellent service standards.
- Manage and lead the bar team, including recruitment, training, and scheduling of staff.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and ensure proper inventory management.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in developing beverage menus and maintaining cost control.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a bar or hospitality management role.
- A relevant third-level qualification in hospitality management is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Excellent understanding of stock control and cost management.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
