Job Description:
At Castle Varagh Hotel, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and ensuring that our bar area is well-stocked, clean, and organized. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Provide excellent customer service, taking drink orders promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, following hotel policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for events and functions.
• Stay informed about menu items, drink specials, and promotions to effectively engage with guests.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of drink recipes and bartending techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be of legal drinking age and possess any necessary certifications (e.g., responsible beverage service).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
