Founded in 2019, Delphic Brewing Company offers a diverse range of traditional ales and innovative craft beers. We opened our new brewery and taproom in Newbury in July 2024, it is the heart of our operations, where we bring our freshest beers directly to the community. We are dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for our customers and fostering a vibrant, inclusive, beer-loving culture. We brew in 500L batches, with a small core range and lots of seasonal releases.

EXPERIENCE

• A passion for Craft Beer desirable, but a willingness to try new things is essential!
• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic technology and understanding of Epos system preferred.
• A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to foster positive interactions with guests.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic people to join our small team, to work behind the bar. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service. As a member of our bar staff, you will be responsible for serving a variety of beverages, mainly draught beer, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organised bar environment. Your ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting will be crucial to your success in this role.

DUTIES

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service practices.
• Stay informed about new beers, products and industry trends to enhance the guest experience.
