JOB TITLE: BAR STAFF

Location: Maldon & Tiptree Football Club, Park Drive, Maldon
Hours: Part-time / Matchdays / Evenings & Weekends
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on age and experience)
Reports to: Bar Manager / Events Manager

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous bar or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.
• Confidence in handling cash/card payments and using tills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional during busy periods.
• Must be 18+ due to licensing requirements.

JOB PURPOSE

To deliver excellent customer service while serving beverages and snacks to supporters, guests, and event attendees at Maldon & Tiptree FC. You’ll help maintain a friendly and welcoming environment while ensuring the bar runs smoothly and complies with all licensing and health & safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks efficiently and responsibly.
• Welcome customers, take orders, and handle payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area throughout shifts.
• Adhere to licensing laws and club policies on alcohol service.
• Assist with setting up and clearing down for events and matchdays.
• Monitor stock levels and restock fridges/shelves as required.
• Deliver friendly, professional service – being the face of the club.
• Support the wider hospitality team when needed during events.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or issues to the Bar Manager.
