QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills, enabling you to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a passion for helping others and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated during quieter periods.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding the menu.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or concerns.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and coordination during busy periods.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
  • Maintain stock levels by assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
