Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service to all guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Follow food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times.
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems and handle payments securely.
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, answer questions about drinks or menu items, and promote specials or events.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of hospitality best practices and excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in bartending or serving in a restaurant or bar setting is highly preferred.
• Understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
• Effective time management to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently.
• Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Good communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
