JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our bar staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices is advantageous.
  • Excellent hospitality skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions effectively.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently.

    Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
    Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food safety practices, to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Assist customers with their orders, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
  • Keep the bar area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service while maintaining high standards of quality.
