The Dog House is a busy and vibrant pub in the heart of Kennington. The pub has a large outside space, function room and shows live sport as part of the offer. We are open until 1am at the weekends. Excellent service and standards are at the heart of everything we do.
Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a positive experience at our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Restock supplies and inventory as needed
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Bartending skills such as mixing drinks and knowledge of different types of alcohol
