JOB TITLE: BAR SUPERVISOR

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Bar Supervisor. As a vital part of our establishment, you will play a key role in overseeing the bar staff, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining a high standard of operations to provide an enjoyable experience for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and bar management
• Strong leadership and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change, with an emphasis on accuracy
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines and health regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and staff

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the bar, ensuring efficient service and high standards
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
• Take and serve drink orders when necessary, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Prepare and serve beverages following recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and workstations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Monitor alcohol intake and ensure responsible service of alcohol, addressing any issues with customers or staff
• Train and mentor bar staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to provide excellent customer service
