Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Bar Supervisor to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, NT. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be delivering first-class services to VIP members and guests, utilising your impeccable bartender and coffee-making skills, providing exceptional guest service. $32.90 per hour + superannuation + penalties + 5 weeks' annual leave

What will you do?

  • Supervise, train, and develop team members, ensuring the exceptional delivery of guest service excellence
  • Roster team members effectively to meet business requirements
  • Monitor and review performance, providing feedback and guidance as needed
  • Ensure the flawless delivery of all food and beverage services to guests
  • Complete bartender and coffee-making duties, sharing knowledge of in-house wines and spirits, monthly specials, and promotions

More about you

  • Certificates in Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gambling
  • Experience as a bar supervisor, as well as training and developing a team
  • Food Safety Certificate and HACCP knowledge 
  • Understanding of licensing requirements, and liquor, bar tending, and service protocols
  • Understanding of marketing and promotions within a bar setting
  • Available to work across a 7-day roster, including evenings/nights, weekends and public holidays
