Role Description

The Bar Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing daily bar operations and delivering an excellent guest experience. This includes supervising bar staff, organizing shifts, monitoring service standards, and ensuring that beverages and snacks are prepared and served according to company guidelines and hygiene standards. The role involves managing inventory, coordinating with the Food & Beverage team, handling guest queries and feedback, and supporting sales initiatives and promotions within the bar. The Bar Supervisor also assists with training new team members, maintaining a safe working environment, and ensuring compliance with all local regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong Supervisory Skills with experience leading and motivating bar or Food & Beverage teams.
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to engage guests professionally and resolve issues effectively.
• Solid Food & Beverage knowledge, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, bar menus, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Experience in Training team members, coaching on service standards, and supporting performance improvement.
• Previous experience in a bar or hotel environment, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly used by international travelers are an advantage.
• Understanding of basic cash handling, POS systems, and inventory control.
• Relevant hospitality or Food & Beverage qualification or certification is preferred.
