We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar team in delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. This role requires effective leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of food and beverage operations.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and inspire a team effectively.
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
  • Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is highly desirable.
  • Culinary experience is an advantage, along with familiarity with food production processes.
  • Exceptional leadership skills combined with a passion for hospitality and customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring a high standard of service and adherence to company policies.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stock control to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and service during busy periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health regulations.
