Description

ABOUT HEFT

Set in the picturesque village of Cartmel, Heft is a Michelin-starred modern British inn led by Chef Patron Kevin Tickle. With a strong focus on provenance, storytelling, and craft — both in the kitchen and behind the bar — Heft is a destination for guests seeking exceptional food, drink, and hospitality. The bar is an integral part of the experience, combining local ales, crafted cocktails, and a curated list of premium spirits, wines, and low-intervention options.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Bar Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our bar, ensuring a world-class guest experience and smooth, professional service. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and front-of-house team to deliver drinks that reflect Heft’s ethos: seasonal, thoughtful, and impeccably executed.
This is a hands-on supervisory role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in bar service who is ready to step into a leadership position, contribute creatively, and uphold the standards of a Michelin-starred environment.

  • A passion for hospitality, guest experience, and continual improvement
  • Personal licence (desirable but not essential)
