Responsibilities
  • Leading your own team and ensuring smooth, guest-oriented operations in the outlet, supporting managers in daily checklist and standard implementation, in close collaboration with all departments of the establishment.
  • Developing and implementing innovative cocktail menus that consider seasonal ingredients and current trends.
  • Knowledge in mixing and combining ingredients to offer an outstanding selection of creative cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, spirits, beers, and wines, garnishing all drinks according to the given standards and explaining their characteristics.
  • Training the bar team on innovative drink preparation techniques and recipes.
  • Promoting continuous learning and teaching to maintain up-to-date product knowledge for yourself and assigned team members.
  • Having a good understanding of the outlet concept as well as the food and beverage offerings, and personally interacting with guests to recommend suitable drinks.
  • Effectively handling any customer complaints, both verbal and written, and promptly forwarding them to managers.
  • Setting up the daily bar area and ensuring that mise en place and all other necessary ingredients and equipment are prepared to work as efficiently as possible.
  • Inspiring and motivating colleagues to create a great working atmosphere and develop creative products to enable exceptional guest experiences.
  • Encouraging small, friendly competitions within the bar team to develop innovative drinks, for example, around a specific spirit or theme.
  • Taking responsibility for the bar and cocktail experience at banquet or private events in all areas of the hotel, if desired.
  • Supporting the service team in serving food and drinks, cleaning tables, chairs, and work areas to ensure a clean environment, as well as providing competent advice to guests.
  • Observing all procedures, guidelines, and practices related to accounting and billing according to hotel standards and cash register policies, controlling subordinate employees.
  • Technical competence: Confident handling of POS systems and other technologies, knowledge of the Infrasys POS system and the SevenRooms booking system would be desirable.
  • Responsible for managing inventory and systematically conducting stocktaking.
  • Participating in and leading service meetings.
  • All other reasonable tasks assigned by the outlet manager, including supporting other outlet areas.
