ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Bar Supervisor/Manager is a key role within the business: assisting the owners of the business in delivering a high level of customer service by maintaining a professional & efficient business both front & back of house and deputising for the owners in their absence.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • To support business owners in delivering business aims and objectives.
  • To ensure that the business complies with legislative compliance issues, such as health & safety, food hygiene etc.
  • To assist in the recruitment and training of the team.
  • To handle customer enquiries and demonstrate positive problem solving.
  • To prepare the business for trade to the required standard.

    • To ensure the smooth running of the business during working hours and ensure that all planned events begin on time and as intended.
  • To complete the closedown of the business with due regard for security and safety.

  • To accurately complete stock & order procedures & receipt of deliveries.

    • To maintain discipline and compliance within the team.
  • To maintain the security of all stock, cash, pub property and customer belongings while on the premises.

  • To assist in the management of financial targets and budgets to maximise profitability.
  • To maintain high focus on social media and contribute to promoting the business.
  • To attend business reviews, training, appraisals, and team meetings as required by the Owners.
  • To perform supporting tasks as required by the Owners.
