Bar Supervisor - Miss Chief Bar & Eatery
Salary - $68,870 + Super pa
Miss Chief Bar & Eatery is looking for an experienced head bartender (supervisor) to head the bar team and lead them with first class drink design. Miss Chief prides ourselves on our 5 star customer satisfaction along with 5 star cocktails so at least 2 years in a similar position is required. The position is a full time permanent position and you must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 years (sorry no backpackers or short term stayers) and a minimum of a Certificate in Hospitality IV is required to be considered for the position.
This is a hands on supervisor roll that involves overseeing the general running of the bar. Your role would include leading the team, mentoring, training, and motivating the Food and Beverage staff to ensure consistent performance and upselling. Must have strong leadership skills, extensive food and beverage knowledge and be adaptable during peak periods, operational challenges and dealing with transient staff. You will also need to have experience in 5 star floor service and be required to work on the floor at some stages throughout the week.
RSA is a must and First Aid experience a bonus!

Main Duties and Tasks:

• Reporting to duty and general managers
• Supervising and training other bartenders

· Till reconciliation

• Coordinate and manage stock take

· Ensure seamless bar service that runs smoothly every night

• Preparing, serving and selling cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons along with pre-batching cocktail bottles for service

· Produce cocktail specials of the week

• General dishwashing duties ensuring that glassware & cutlery is polished correctly
• Supervising/undertaking cleaning and maintaining bar service areas
• General knowledge of till systems, transactions, including how to enter a new products correctly
• Replenishing stock at the end of shift and ensuring staff are rotating stock correctly
• Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests
• Perform general waiting duties
