The Ardilaun Hotel is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Bar Supervisor to join the team. To be considered for this role, you must be available to work various shifts, including weekends.
and have a keen interest in mixology, spirits, wine, and craft beers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hospitality environment desired.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for delivering a memorable guest experience.
  • Knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and craft beers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult situations with ease and professionalism.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Competence in barista work and coffee preparation.
  • High standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Strong sales and upselling skills to enhance guest experience and revenue.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise the bar team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of service.
  • Greet and welcome guests, ensuring their needs are anticipated and met with excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Prepare and serve drinks and cocktails to the highest standard with personality and flair.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing the beverage offerings within the hotel.
  • Ensure the bar service area is clean and tidy during and after service.
  • Go beyond the general level of service expected to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
  • Maintain the front and back of house areas to a very high standard of presentation.
  • Attend to tables, ensuring guests receive prompt and attentive service.
  • Oversee barista duties and ensure high-quality coffee service.
